Stationery budget halved
22 May, 2010 - In a move to reduce misuse of office stationery, the government will be halving the annual stationery budget starting from the next fiscal year in July.
This was decided after the cabinet secretariat found that there was misuse of government stationery, especially in urban centres. The cabinet decided to slash the budget for all government offices and autonomous agencies across the country.
